Biokovo Skywalk: Everything You Need to Know

The Biokovo Skywalk is one of Croatia's most spectacular attractions — a horseshoe-shaped glass platform suspended at 1,228 metres above sea level, offering jaw-dropping panoramic views over the Adriatic Sea, the islands, and on clear days, even the Italian coast.

Located within the Biokovo Nature Park, the Skywalk opened in 2020 and quickly became one of Dalmatia's must-visit destinations. The drive from Brist to the Skywalk takes approximately 45 minutes along a winding mountain road that is an adventure in itself.

Important practical tips: Entry to the Nature Park requires a ticket, which should be booked online in advance during summer months as daily visitor numbers are limited. The park opens early in the morning, and visiting at sunrise is a truly unforgettable experience.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring a light jacket — even in summer, temperatures at 1,200+ metres can be significantly cooler than at the coast. The Skywalk itself has glass floors, so those with a fear of heights should be prepared for a thrilling experience.
