“We had a truly wonderful stay! The hosts, who were very kind and hospitable, felt we should be upgraded to their largest apartment, and what a lovely apartment it was. Everything worked, because everything had been thought of, right down to making it cosy, which it very much was. Brist is also a really lovely town with everything you need, and the beach is a short walk away wherever you go. We had booked six nights and could easily have stayed many more. A little extra: the hosts gave us a small, delicious basket with a taste of their home-grown tomatoes, basil, and oil. We give this place the very best recommendation!”

“After a last-minute change of plans, we were lucky to find this wonderful apartment for a stopover on our way from Hvar to Dubrovnik. It was immaculately clean, the bed and air conditioning were great, and the sea views were beautiful. Ena was the perfect host; before we had even met, she had booked a nail salon appointment for me. During our stay we were treated like good friends rather than strangers. Brist, on the Makarska Riviera, was a lovely surprise: beautiful beaches and a crystal-clear sea, very reasonably priced, with a quiet, relaxed feel. I hope one day we can return and stay much longer!”

“A picturesque location with an Italian feel: clean and tasteful. Easy to reach, with a parking space. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, and care about every detail. I'm used to staying in hotels, but this was better than a hotel. The apartment is fully equipped, spotless, and modern, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom; nothing was missing. There's a balcony and terrace with a sea view, shops and bars nearby, and several beaches right by the apartment. A wonderful place for a summer break. And no, no one paid me for this review, it was simply wonderful!”

“If you're looking for a secluded slice of paradise on the Adriatic coast, Brist is the place to stay. The apartment is clean and a stone's throw from the sea, with a beach, restaurants, a bakery, a bar, gelato, a fruit and veg market, and beach shops all a few steps away. A ten-minute drive north you can reach Drvenik and take a boat to Hvar. There are plenty of beaches and villages along this stretch of coast. The hosts were lovely and always reachable, and we even got a bottle of chilled wine on arrival. Highly recommended, and thank you for a relaxing, peaceful stay in beautiful Brist!”
