Brist's coastline is a string of beautiful pebble beaches lapped by the crystal-clear turquoise Adriatic. Unlike busier resorts on the Riviera, Brist's beaches remain uncrowded even in peak summer, making them perfect for families and anyone seeking tranquillity. The seabed drops gently, ideal for children, while the deeper sea just offshore is perfect for snorkelling. A seaside promenade connects the beaches and is lovely for evening strolls as the sun sets behind the islands.

Brist carries centuries of history in its stone walls. The village is home to the Church of St. Margarita, originally built in the 15th century in a Baroque style, and the smaller Church of St. Ante from 1807. Scattered through the surrounding area you'll find medieval tombstones (stećci), silent witnesses to the region's pre-Ottoman past. Notable architectural landmarks include the Miosić and Diana houses from the 18th century, fine examples of Dalmatian residential architecture. The village cemetery and old stone roads tell stories of generations of seafarers and farmers who shaped this coast.

Dalmatian cuisine is a celebration of simplicity and fresh ingredients. In and around Brist, you'll savour freshly caught fish and seafood — grilled, baked under a peka bell, or served as a rich brudet stew. Local extra virgin olive oil (including the hosts' own homemade production) elevates every dish. Pair your meal with wines from the nearby Pelješac peninsula — robust Plavac Mali reds or crisp Pošip whites. Don't miss the local lamb, slow-roasted with herbs from the Biokovo hillsides, or finish with fritule (mini doughnuts) and a glass of homemade rakija.
